羽生、フリーも１位＝日本は２位キープ

フィギュアスケートの世界国別対抗戦第２日は１７日、東京・国立代々木競技場で行われ、日本は男子フリーで羽生結弦（ＡＮＡ）が１位になるなどして、初日の２位を保った。首位は米国。

　１６日のショートプログラム（ＳＰ）で１位となった羽生は４回転トーループが３回転になるミスがあったが、１９２．３１点をマーク。無良崇人（ＨＩＲＯＴＡ）は１６５．４０点で３位。
　ペアＳＰは、シニアの国際大会デビューとなった古賀亜美（オリオンク）フランシス・ブードロオデ（カナダ）組が４６．８７点で最下位の６位。アイスダンスのフリーはキャシー・リード、クリス・リード組（木下ク）が７３．２４点で１６日のショートダンスに続いて６位に終わった。

Figure skating: Hanyu leads Japan into 2nd to start World Team Trophy

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Reigning Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu produced a stellar performance in the men's short program to lead Japan into solid standing in second place behind the United States on the first day of the World Team Trophy on Thursday.

With the top score of 96.27 points, Hanyu led Japan, which finished third at the previous event two years ago, to second place with 43 points. Team U.S.A leads with 48 points, followed by Russia in third. Takahito Mura (82.04) placed fourth in the men's short program.

American Gracie Gold led the women's short program with a score of 71.26 at Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo. Japan's Kanako Murakami finished fifth with 62.39 points, and Satoko Miyahara sixth with 60.52.

In ice dance, Japan's Chris and Cathy Reed failed to impress in the short dance finishing last of the six teams. Canadians Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje topped the standings with 73.14 points.

The six-team competition consists of two phases, the short and free programs. It is the first time the standings will be calculated according to the sum of team points from each phase of the competition.

At the inaugural Sochi Winter Olympics team event, Japan placed fifth under a different format.

日本、初日２位＝羽生はＳＰ今季最高－国別対抗フィギュア

フィギュアスケートの第４回世界国別対抗戦第１日は１６日、今季の成績上位６カ国が参加して東京・国立代々木競技場で行われ、日本は羽生結弦（ＡＮＡ）が男子ショートプログラム（ＳＰ）で首位に立つなどして２位につけた。首位は米国。
　世界選手権銀メダルの羽生はジャンプにミスがあったが、今季自己最高の９６．２７点。無良崇人（ＨＩＲＯＴＡ）は８２．０４点で４位。
　女子ＳＰでは、村上佳菜子（中京大）が６２．３９点で５位、世界選手権２位の宮原知子（大阪・関大高）は６０．５２点で６位。グレーシー・ゴールド（米国）が７１．２６点で首位。アイスダンスＳＤはキャシー・リード、クリス・リード組（木下ク）が４９．９９点で６位。　
　男女各２人、ペアとアイスダンス各１組で構成され、順位をポイント化して合計得点で争う。（2015/04/16-20:49）

Figure skating: Hanyu's free skate keeps Japan 2nd in Team Trophy

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu won the men's free skate on Friday to keep Japan in second place behind the United States on the second day of the World Team Trophy.

Hanyu, who was also the top scorer in Thursday's short program, scored 192.31 in his long program, helping Japan to 79 points after two days. The United States leads with 83 points. The women's free skate on Saturday will close out the competition at Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo.

Jason Brown of the United States was second behind Hanyu with 176.69 points, while Japan's Takahito Mura was third among the men with 165.40 points.

In the pairs short program, Japan was represented by Ami Koga and Canada's Francis Boudreau Audet, who were last among the six pairs. Japan's sibling duo of Chris and Cathy Reed were last in the free dance.

China's Sui Wenjing and Han Cong won the pairs short program, while France's Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron won the free dance.

At the inaugural Sochi Winter Olympics team event, Japan placed fifth under a different format.
